We kindly request you to adhere to the necessary regulations and codes of practice to curb the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) as per the directives and measures applied across the Sultanate’s airports, and to follow the official account of the Ministry of Health – Sultanate of Oman for the latest updates in this regard.
The safety and security of our passengers, visitors, and employees is of utmost importance and we address it seriously.
Departures security screening:
All departing passengers will undergo security baggage screening. X-ray machines are in place after immigration departure area. Furthermore, all hold (check in) and hand baggage will be X-rayed after check-in.
All electrical items, such as laptops, mobile phones, cameras, MP3 players, and other entertainment devices may undergo an additional screening. Please be prepared to remove your electrical items from the travel case to be X-rayed separately.
Passengers and visitors are requested to be patient while these security measures take place and to head to the departure gates as soon as check-in is completed in order to avoid delays to their flights.
